Inspiration I really didn't need a lot of musical inspiration growing up. Music was always sort of a pre-requisite with me because I was born into a musical family in which my Dad is a singer and guitar player, Nana was a southern gospel singer and my sister is a talented vocalist as well. Music has always flowed through my veins.

biography
From the mountains of western North Carolina came a dreamer with a talent in his voice and a song in his heart. From the early age of five, it was crystal clear to Bobby Cutshaw what God had intended for him and his life, for it was then that he began performing and acquiring a love for the stage. Born and raised in a musical family built on spiritual values, Bobby grew up on the sounds of southern Gospel music such as the Cathedrals and the Gaither Vocal Band. He would eventually come to realize that it was Country and Bluegrass music that made his world go 'round. "The first live Country music concert that I attended was a George Jones show in Asheville, NC." "I was probably 10 years old and I soaked up every note, every lyric and every emotion that Jones sent into the audience that night." "I was hooked to say the least." Growing up, Bobby seemed to do it all, from singing in church sanctuaries, to winning 'em over at dance halls and festivals. It was after high school that Bobby discovered a new format that he had not yet utilized, production shows. At the age of 18, he began his professional career as master of ceremonies/lead vocalist/utility musician at "Carolina Nights Dinner Theater" in Maggie Valley, NC. He would perform there for four years before making the move to Nashville, TN to further pursue his musical career. "I knew all along that God was making a path for me to "Music City." After moving to Nashville, he picked up where he'd left off by grabbing a spot in the cast of the "Nashville Nightlife Country Revue Show." Currently, Bobby has left the theater format in order to concentrate more on his own music. He carries his lyrics through each show with his soaring tenor that's been compared to the likes of John Berry and Larry Gatlin, who just so happen to be two of his musical influences. Others include, Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, Jon Randall, Collin Raye and Steve Wariner. If you've never heard Bobby Cutshaw's music or seen his live shows, you just might be missing out on something very special. After all, Vince Gill summed it up best when he sang, "Everybody's ready for the next big thing!"
